Sip, Savour, Celebrate: Our First Dublin Coffee Festival
We're still buzzing with excitement after an incredible weekend at our first Dublin Coffee Festival on 1-3 March! What a journey it's been – from the aromatic brews to the heartwarming friendship, every moment was infused with the spirit of coffee-loving community. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support we received from our partners, exhibitors, programme speakers and hosts, crew members, volunteers, and visitors. Your presence truly made this event special, and we couldn't have done it without you!
The Biggest Highlight!
One of the standout moments? Without a doubt, it was the introduction of our coffee competition, Extracted Development, to the Irish coffee community for the very first time. Witnessing our attendees engage with our competitors to learn about their coffee profiles, and seeing baristas and roasters come together to showcase their exceptional skills was nothing short of fascinating. Congratulations to all the talented winners who made this competition truly memorable!
We Saved Over 2,864 Single-Use Cups!
But the magic didn't stop there, in our commitment to sustainability, we made the bold decision to make the festival a single-use paper cup-free event. Cheers to everyone who brought their reusable cups and captured some Insta-worthy moments! And a huge shoutout to our partner shareclub for providing free cup rental services at our festival, helping us save over 2,864 single-use cups from ending up in landfill!
Brew for a Greater Cause
We are also thrilled to announce that, thanks to your incredible support, we raised a total of €1,736 for our community partners, Farmers' Voice Radio and VOICE, through ticket sales and direct donations. Proving once again the power of coffee to bring people together for a greater cause!
